Hello,

I am trying to install OpenIAM in a single VM, but already have deployed some of the infra components. How can I configure the init script to use and configure those? Examples will be greatly appreciated. The components I already have deployed are:

- PostgreSQL database server
- Vault Secrets Manager

In the same topic, how are TLS connections with self signed certificates are handled Are certificates imported into the OS?

Thanks!

Hello,

The vault that you are using is the one that comes with the OpenIAM distribution or you installed is separately? The RPM installer and the Docker installer but install the vault as part of the install and you should do this separately.

For the database - take a look at these docs here: [Installing OpenIAM with a remote database](https://docs.openiam.com/docs-4.2.1.15/installation/1-rpm-installation/7-remoteDB)
