Issues with rabbiMQ communication

Hi.

I’m following the ongoing Spring 2025 Workforce webcasts and seems to be stuck with an error that I cant figure out. I have deployed 3 VMs, one Win2K19 AD controller, a Win2K22 connector server and a Centos Stream 9 Openiam server and has disabled firewalls on all servers. All VMs are connected to the same virtual network.

Whenever I try do do a sync of either AD Users or AD Groups I get this error : “Error code: INTERNAL_ERROR;Error Text: Response is not received from RabbitMQ during reply timeout”.

Any hints on how I can resolve this ?

Hi. Did you try to re-save the connector, as described in docs?

Status of user’s identity after provisioning remains PENDING_CREATE or PENDING_UPDATE. Possible reason: connector got unbound from RabbitMQ and no longer receives request from OpenIAM. This is known issue and OpenIAM team works on solid solution for it. Solution: Now we suggest to resave connector and check if responses from connector came back to OpenIAM. Open webconsole->provisioning->connectors-> find connector that experienced issues-> click save. Then open managed system dashboard and click icon of connector replies on the proper managed system raw to make sure IAM got responses back.

Thanks for the hint, that fixed the problem  Tried to look for this in the documentation, but I guess my searchskills aren’t up to scratch. Care to share a link to this ?

Sure:)
