RabbitMQ Internal Error

Hello Community,

I am following the Spring 2025 Workforce webcasts and I am having problem doing a sync of either AD Users or AD Groups. Whenever I tried to sync it always give me this error message: “Error code: INTERNAL_ERROR;Error Text: Response is not received from RabbitMQ during reply timeout”.

I have deployed 2 VMs, one Windows Server 2019 AD DC and a Centos Stream 9 Openiam server and has disabled firewalls on both servers. All VMs are connected to the same virtual network.

I have tried the solution provided in this link Connector troubleshooting and am still unable to fix the issue. Any advise on how I might be able to resolve this issue?

Hello @Coad,

Could you please provide the following:

  1. Screenshots of the configuration changes (as per the connector troubleshooting guide), so we can validate the setup.

  2. Synchronization logs and ESB logs for further review.

Sorry for the late reply I have managed to resolve the issue already. The problem was due to the hostname not being able to resolve.
